Coronavirus Update
During this time, Hillmont GI is taking all steps possible to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We have advised our employees on how to stay healthy and to stay home if not feeling well. We ask the same of our patients. If you have been exposed to COVID-19, traveled outside of the United States or display symptoms indicative of the virus, please cancel your appointment and we will reschedule you after 14 days of self-quarantine. Please call and schedule an appointment before visiting the office. Any visitors without an appointment will be asked to come back when one is scheduled. If you do have an appointment, we ask that you please wear a mask and wash your hands.
We will continue to monitor the situation and post any updates as needed. Our decisions will be based on guidance from the ADA, CDC, OSHA and WHO, as well as local and federal government and public health agencies.
Telehealth Visits
In order to comply with the stay at home order, many of our visits are now being scheduled as telehealth, or electronic visits. You will need an electronic device that has a video camera (smart phone, tablet, or computer). Let us know if you don't have access to one and we will work out the details. It's simple with no special software, apps, downloads, or creating new accounts. You can visit www.doxy.me to review prior to your appointment. You will be given a web address prior to your visit to enter the "virtual office" at your scheduled appointment time. Please be patient, as we are doing our best to accommodate everyone. Please call our office with any questions.
Procedure Visits
Our surgical center, like our offices, is a controlled space, staffed by providers who understand and have experience in managing infection and disease. Especially in the surgical arena, providing exceptional infection control precautions is simply a daily way of life at our center. If you have a scheduled procedure, please review our patient safety procedures for the surgery center.
